Man arrested for attending Stereosonic music festival in Adelaide

THIRTY-TWO people were barred from a weekend music festival in Adelaide after police investigating the bikie war between the Finks and Hells Angels applied for a public safety order.

One man, who had been issued with a public safety order preventing him from attending the Stereosonic festival at Bonython Park on Saturday, was arrested after he allegedly attended.

Police said the Parafield Gardens man, 19, was banned, along with 31 others, due to the "serious risk to public safety".

They would not confirm for operational reasons how many of the other 31 were connected to the bikie violence, in which a series of revenge attacks between the two gangs culminated in last month's shooting murder of Pooraka car workshop owner Jason De Ieso.

"It will be alleged that the arrested man was one of those persons who had been served with the order and he was alleged to have been located inside the venue later in the evening," police said in a statement.

"The application was made as a result of the on-going conflict between the Finks and Hells Angels."

He will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
