Nearly 130 people have been charged with drugs, weapons and property related offences as part of a joint effort with WA police and government agencies.

The Attero National Taskforce was established to focus on the Rebels motorcycle gang, the largest outlaw motorcycle gang in Australia with chapters in all state and territories as well as overseas.

WA police has charged 129 people with various drug, weapons and property related offences since April.

In addition to this, as part of a national day of action on Tuesday, investigators from the gang crime squad executed eight search warrants at various properties throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

A significant quantity of firearms and other weapons were seized in addition to a large quantity of cash and prohibited drugs including steroids, cannabis and amphetamine.

Four men and one woman have been charged.

Inquiries are continuing and further charges are expected to be laid.
