BIKIES were involved in a brutal punch-up with police at a pub in Victoria�s far north, it has been revealed.

An investigation has been launched into the mass brawl, in which two police officers were injured.

Victoria Police said its officers were off duty when the savage fight started with the Bandidos in Echuca at 3am on Saturday. The fight is believed to have spilled out on to the street.

“A fight broke out between several off-duty police members and Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) members at a Hare St licensed premises about 3am,” Victoria Police spokeswoman Leonie Johnson said.

“Two male police officers were injured, with one requiring hospital treatment for facial injuries.

“It is not known whether any OMCG members were injured.”

Police confirmed this morning there had been no arrests.

The Bandidos have a clubhouse in Echuca, which is where its national president, Jason Addison, lives.

The fight is being investigated by Campaspe Crime Investigation Unit and overseen by the Professional Standard Command – previously known as the Ethical Standards Division.
