Bikie gang members are among 16 people charged with drug offences after raids in northern NSW.

A total of 12 men and four women, aged between 20 and 50, have been charged after the raids in Tamworth.

"Police will allege two members of the Tamworth chapter of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang were among those charged," police said in a statement.

"Investigations are continuing and further arrests are likely."

Drugs worth $30,800 have been seized, including methylamphetamine (the drug also known as ice) with an estimated street value of $20,000.

Police also found 300 ecstasy (MDMA) tablets with a street value of $9000 and cannabis with a street value of $1800.

More than $9500 in cash was seized.

Police will be alleging three cars were used in the drug trade.

They seized a VS Commodore, valued at $6000, and issued notices to prevent the disposal of a Nissan Maxima, valued about $10,000, and a Nissan Navara ute valued about $16,000.

Two people will be appearing in Tamworth Local Court on Thursday and the other 14 will be appearing at a later date.
