Hells Angels bikies are in trouble again, but this time it's for not making their Sydney clubhouse fire safe.

Authorities shut down the clubhouse in Alexandria after it was found to be in breach of several fire safety regulations, police said.

Officers from Strike Force Raptor, which targets bikie gang activity, local police and Fire and Rescue NSW inspected the property yesterday morning after reports of safety concerns.

A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said several breaches were found, including four exits being blocked by reinforced steel doors, absence of a water supply, out-of-date fire extinguishers and no fire plan in place.

Occupants were issued with the order, which stops the use of the premises until the breaches have been addressed.

"Issue of the orders had nothing to do with the nature of the building, its owners or occupants, and related solely to concerns about fire safety of occupants," a Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said.

Fire authorities said they will do a follow-up inspection to make sure the breaches are properly address.
