Police are appealing for information following the carjacking of a luxury sedan at Malabar last night.

About 10pm, Friday 16 March 2012, a 29-year-old man parked his white Mercedes AMG C63 in the car park of a unit block on Bilga Crescent.

As the man was about to exit the vehicle he was approached by three men and dragged out of the car.

He was threatened with a knife and ordered to hand over the keys to the car before one of the men stole his $200,000 Mercedes.

Police have been told the other two men got into another car and fled the scene.

Both vehicles were last seen driving west on Bilga Crescent towards Anzac Parade.

Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Local Area Command attended the scene and spoke to the man who was not injured during the incident.

Investigators are now looking for three men who have been described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance and aged in their mid 20s.

The Mercedes is described as being a white-coloured 2010 model AMG C63 with New South Wales registration BZZ-62N.

Police are continuing their investigations into the incident and attempting to establish a motive for the theft.

Investigators are looking at whether there are any links to Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs as they will allege the victim is an associate of the Comancheros OMCG.
