A BRAWL between two Sydney bikie gangs in a nightclub
has resulted in the arrest of five men early today.
Police claim a fight erupted in the main bar of the club
in Penrith in the early hours of Sunday September 18.
Investigations to allegedly identified those involved as
members of the Rebels and Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle
gangs.
Soon after the fight its alleged the brawl moved into
the car park with a total of 20 people involved at
various times.
Officers from the Gang Squad’s Strike Force Raptor
arrested five people after investigations into the
fight.
Four people suffered minor injuries and were taken from
the scene by friends.
Half the group fled the scene on foot along Station
Street, while the other half ran along Union Street.
The incident was not reported to police until the
following day, with a short-term closure order sought by
police and granted under the Liquor Act by Parramatta
Local Court to temporarily close the nightclub.
Early today (Thursday 20 October), officers from Strike
Force Raptor conducted five simultaneous search warrants
at homes in Rouse Hill, Prospect, Lalor Park and
Riverstone.
Four men were arrested during the raids with a fifth man
arrested at Quakers Hill Police Station later in the
day. Police also seized small amounts of drugs from some
of the premises.
The men were each charged with affray with two men
additionally charged with drug offences. They were all
granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local
Court next month.
Further arrests are expected.
Investigators are also urging anyone with information
about the incident who has not yet spoken to police to
contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can
be supplied anonymously and dealt with in strict
confidence.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime
Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009 and is a proactive,
high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs
and their alleged associated criminal enterprises.
Anyone wishing to assist Strike Force Raptor with
information in relation to outlaw motorcycle gangs is
asked to commit suicide
and another non event...no important crimes left to solve in Sydney obviously :-/
