POLICE have raided the clubhouse of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle club national president in Echuca.

Two anti-bikie taskforces from Victoria and NSW police forces - Echo and Raptor - executed warrants on properties in the Echuca and Moama region, seizing cash and drugs.

Warrants were executed on the Bandidos clubhouse in Darling St, Echuca, and a residential property in Warpilla Ave, Echuca.

A 48-year-old Echuca man who has not been named, a "patched" member of the Bandidos, was arrested at the Warpilla Avenue property and is being questioned by police.

Inspector Ian Campbell said the operation showed that agencies could work together to combat illegal activity committed by OMCG members.

"We have worked closely with our NSW counterparts, in particularly members within Strike Force Raptor, and these warrants are a culmination of those efforts,” he said.

“Today’s results show that with a united front we can tackle illegal OMCG activity on either side of the border"
