Police must pay Hells Angel bikie Zoran Nikolic $3000 after dropping charges against him

POLICE must pay a Hells Angel bikie gang member more than $3000 after dropping charges against him today.
Zoran Nikolic, 44, of Andrews Farm appeared in court today charged with two counts of possessing or using a prohibited weapon and one count of failing to supply a handwriting sample.
Police withdrew the charges. No reason was given in open court.
Magistrate Bill Ackland ordered police pay Nikolic's court costs of $3135.
Outside court, Nikolic said he was relieved the matter was over.
Last month, Nikolic's house was peppered with bullets for the second time in about a year.
Last year's shooting was connected to members of the New Boys and the escalating feud between the two groups.
