A group of about 20 men, believed to be bikies, have stormed into a Spearwood tattoo shop, assaulted two men and trashed the store today.

Witnesses said the gang of "big, scary blokes" went into the Lost City Tattoo shop, on Rockingham Road, today and immediately assaulted the store manager.

When he ran into a back room up to eight men followed him and brutally bashed him as he lay on the ground. One customer, James Schmitt, said he was punched in the neck by one of the men.

When he fell to the ground one of the men handed him his mobile phone and wallet which he had dropped and told him to leave the store.

An employee said the men had then smashed everything inside the store. He said the men, who were not wearing bikie colours but looked like gang members, had arrived at the store in cars. Police gang crime squad members are investigating the incident.
