POLICE are hunting a junior Hell's Angel gang member accused of pulling a gun on alleged New Boys gang leader Vincenzo Focarelli in a northern suburbs supermarket last night, before assaulting two others.

It is alleged that after pulling the gun on Mr Focarelli, he shoved the weapon into the stomach of a staff member and assaulted a security guard.

Mr Focarelli was allegedly the target of a bungled bombing ordered by the Hell's Angels at Enfield in February. Then in May, his son Giovanni, was stabbed in the stomach and chest outside his father's Hindly St tattoo parlour. And in July, Mr Focarelli's former house in Enfield was fire bombed.

AdelaideNow has learned the man walked into the Main North Rd, Sefton Park, Foodland at 7pm and allegedly confronted 35-year-old Mr Focarelli.

The alleged New Boys leader fled and the Hells Angel gang member gave chase.

Police allege the gunman also restrained a 34-year-old woman working at the supermarket by holding the pistol against her stomach, then demanded cash from the woman.

"A 30-year-old security guard who attempted to intervene was allegedly assaulted and threatened with the firearm," a police spokeswoman said.

"Victims suffered no physical injury as a result of the incident."

Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force have identified the gunman as a 32-year-old member of the rival Hells Angel gang.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bank SA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
