Police out in force for Nomads bikie run

POLICE are out in force to keep a close eye on bikie gang members roaring up major roads in southern Queensland on their national run.

Scores of members of the Nomads bikie gang today started riding from the NSW border to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Police from Queensland's bikie task force are expecting the run to last for three days and have told drivers to expect delays, including on the M1 and Logan motorways.

Officers across southeast Queensland say they will prioritise the safety of all drivers and respond to any problems that occur on the run accordingly.
