Bikie charged after domestic - Clovelly

Police have charged an outlaw motorcycle gang member after an alleged domestic incident in Sydney’s east.

 

About midday today (Tuesday 27 March 2012), police were called to a licensed premises in Clovelly Road, Clovelly, after a woman contacted police about a domestic incident which occurred at a nearby residence.

 

It’s alleged that the 27-year-old woman was threatened with a knife by her 27-year-old de facto. It is also alleged the man assaulted the woman by slapping her and attempting to stab her with a pen.

 

A short time later police arrested the man on Coogee Bay Road, Coogee.

 

He was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with two counts of armed with intent to commit indictable offence, one count of assault and one of affray.

 

He was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 28 March 2012).

 

Police understand the man to be a senior member of the Commanchero Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang.
