POLICE are
investigating the sudden death of a Coffin Cheater Motorcycle Club member in
Collie.
A coroner's report is
due this week.
Senior Sergeant
Warrick Walker said Kevin Flynn was delivered at the Collie Hospital by two
associates about 8.30am on Thursday, April 28.
Snr Sgt Walker said Mr
Flynn had died before being taken to the hospital.
Hospital staff tried
to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful.
Officers from Bunbury
detectives, South West district response group and South West crime scenes
were in Collie on April 28 investigating the case.
Snr Sgt Walker said
neither Mr Flynn nor the associates that delivered him to the hospital were
from Collie and police were not yet sure why they were in town.
He said the cause of
death would not be known until police received a coroner's report and the
case was being treated as a sudden death until then.
"We're waiting for the
results of a post mortem to determine the next line of enquiry," he said.
A funeral was held in
Bunbury for Mr Flynn on the weekend.
