QLD police raid nets guns, cash, drugs
Drugs, firearms, stolen number plates and $30,000 in cash has been seized in a
major police operation targeting an unnamed motorcycle club on the Gold Coast.
QLD State Crime Operations and the Gold Coast CIB raided 14 properties across
the coast this morning in "Operation Delta Fallow".
Detective Inspector John Hartwell from the CIB says police also seized a variety
of dangerous and illegal weapons including knuckle-dusters, extendable batons
and stun guns.
"Police have located two Tasers or stun guns, three handguns, a sawn-off
shotgun, $30,000 in cash, stolen plates from a vehicle, as well as small amounts
of amphetamines, ecstasy and cannabis," he said.
Six people have been charged with firearms and drug offences.
