POLICE have recovered more guns and drugs in raids on motorcycle gang members on
the Gold Coast.
Detective Inspector John Hartwell said five properties in various parts of the
coast were raided today and police recovered drugs and concealable guns.
"Four people have been charged with six charges related to possession of illegal
weapons and drugs," Detective Inspector Hartwell said.
Today's raids were a follow-on from last week when 14 Gold Coast properties were
searched in an operation targeting motorcycle gang members.
During those raids, detectives seized cash, drugs and illegal concealable
weapons including stun guns, a knuckle-duster and extendable batons.
