Up at the usual 5.45am, thanks kids! and as it was still 25degrees odd, thought it'd be a nice ride  up over the Blue Mountains, before it got too  hot.Gonna be nearly 40 again today here...

This is just after I leave home on Castlereagh road heading towards Richmond, pretty country...

Getting up into the hills a bit on Bells Line of Road at Bilpin

Had to stop to take this shot...tho theres more impressive views, went sailing past them...

Once I got to Bell, which is just an RTA truck stop, I turned left towards Katoomba.

Had mate with a house up here 15-20 years ago, used to ride up here all the time...

Must've been about 22 degrees today,  perfect...

Bloody trucks...

Speed limit Blues...tho a cruise is ok...

and down the hill again....through Katoomba, Springwood etc, not a bad road when you get past Lawson

and its 4 lanes all the way down to the M4

Nice 160km ride and back by 10am, I wonder if the missus has bought any eggs yet...
