Bells line of Road Sunday

I did well   putting on the jeans and boots today, 30 degrees and muggy, sometimes I cant find the energy for motorcycling when its too hot , but hadn't been out on the old girl for a while and  was feeling a bit guilty about it...

Thought a pub run was in order if nothing else so headed out towards the Blue Mountains and Bells Line Of Road, which runs from Richmond to Lithgow, over the mountains.

The roads about 60km of big dips, windy bits and spectacular scenery that's hard to capture cos there aint too many safe places to stop...

Sydneys about 80km in the distance through the haze...

Fairly safe to stop at the Kurrajong pub tho , as long as the barmaids icy glare doesnt freeze ya bits....

had a nice plate of nacho's for $10 to go with my 3 schooners...

I dont know why I always look so happy...maybe it was all the jap bikes...

Up to the summit of the road at Bell, and we both needed to rid ourselves of the last intake of liquids...

Passenger train went past 2 seconds after I took this pic...pity it hadn't been  a minute earlier...

AAh the Australian bush....(in the background.......)

just over 3000 ft, and still hot as today, usually a bit cooler up here.

More bush....
