Gangs Squad detectives have charged two people, including a high-ranking member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, following an operation targeting alleged drug supply.
About 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 May, 2001), detectives executed search warrants at two locations including a home at Willmot and an industrial complex on Regentville Road at South Penrith.
A 51-year-old man was arrested by police nearby. Police will allege he is a high-ranking member of the Outlaws OMCG.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old woman was arrested at the home in Willmot.
The 51-year-old man was subsequently charged with four counts of supply prohibited drugs, and one count of ongoing supply of prohibited drugs. He was refused bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court later today.
The woman was charged with one count of supply prohibited drug, as well as for an outstanding arrest warrant for drug related offences. She has been refused bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court later today.
During the search warrants police located and seized drug related paraphernalia.
