The Great (big pain in the arse..) Rebuild!
Finally a bit of assembly....and only a couple of disasters to report. Front end,.. shoulda read a manual..Put the slider bushes in 1 leg b4 putting in the fork legs, well trying to...stuffed the new seal and bushes...Nother set bought, read an old sportster manual for some pointers on the forks, and they went back together properly. Rear guard was painted and finished , but laid it on a bed so it didnt get damaged in the bombsite garage, and still being soft took on the pattern of the quilt...Sand it down and paint it again shortly...
note gearbox held up by strap till motors in...
4" over legs...
checking the bars wont foul the tanks,
