Police warning over SA bikie gangs

Police say they have sent a clear message to South Australian motorcycle gangs that they believe are looking to set up a chapter in Mildura.
The president of the Adelaide chapter of the Rebels, was arrested at a Mildura hotel early Sunday morning on outstanding warrants.
The man was one of about 15 Rebels members who were in Mildura at the weekend.
Inspector Simon Clemence, of Victoria Police, says the gang leader's arrest came after an off-duty police officer was intimidated by a number of Rebels members at a Mildura nightspot on Saturday night.
"We are here to protect the people of Victoria and Mildura and we will stay here and do just that," he said.
"These two-wheeled knuckle heads aren't going to threaten us."
